What Should I know Prior to Starting BHRT?
Bioidentical hormone replacement therapy is a journey. It is not an overnight fix. Our goal is to help you feel your best, most empowered self. In order to do that, consistency, compliancy, and patience are required. Most patients take 6-8 weeks after starting BHRT until they start to notice a difference. Give yourself and your provider grace to find the most effective treatment plan for you!

Bioidentical HRT is hormone replacement therapy with the use of bioidentical hormones. This means that the hormones used are the same molecular structure as your own endogenous hormones. They mimic your own endogenous hormones and their functions. These hormones promote good health effects, such as protection against cardiovascular disease, osteoporosis, dementia, and cancers.
You don't have to be post menopausal to be treated with BHRT. For females, BHRT can benefit premenopausal, perimenopausal and postmenopausal women. BHRT can be beneficial for males of all ages (18 and up) if symptoms are present. You will fill out a medical history form prior to your first blood draw to ensure BHRT is safe for you.
Currently, The Hydration Station offers various forms of BHRT including, injectables, topicals, and oral hormones that are delivered to your house.
